It is not a thing that is fractured, but our perspective. Our peculiar vision demands that we reassemble and reunite fragments of the photons of light impacting upon our vision. While we believe the result to have a commonality, it does not. Thus everything becomes not what it is physically, but a way of seeing. We are the creators of our own micro-mosaics. Yes, we will agree upon the whole, but without sharing the sum of its parts.
Identity is not the same as realization and perception. The artist gives us an interpretation, and we will reassess it as is our want and our nature. Every art experience is a vision quest unique to each of us.
Welcome to the sculptural worlds of Peter Shire, the photographic visions of Fred Licht, the multi-media dimensions of j.Reto, the video motions of Melanie Manos, the montages of William Haugse, the labyrinths of Dragan Mrdja, the silent worlds of Philip Johnston, the shamanistic vision of William Emboden and the photo physics of Aldo Rossi.
