Dear Friends of Affinity Galleries:

Come and see the fine art of our current exhibition entitled, Transformations; experience the fashion show and photo shoot of Walker Bunting's Top Teen Models by www.acrylicnailsphotography.com; and take part in a brief presentation about the Foundation while enjoying the benefits of THE LEMONADE STAND, fighting childhood cancer one cup at a time.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation first began in 2000, when a then 4-year-old cancer patient named Alexandra Scott voiced a simple wish - she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help "her doctors" find a cure for all kids with cancer. The idea was put into action when Alex held her very first lemonade stand on her family’s front lawn in July of that same year. For the next four years, despite her deteriorating health, Alex held an annual lemonade stand to raise money for childhood cancer research.
On August 1st, 2004, cancer ultimately took Alex's life. She was 8-years-old. Her spirited determination to raise awareness and money for childhood cancers, while bravely fighting her own battle, has inspired thousands of people from all walks of life to join the fight. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation is a registered 501 (c) 3 public charity.
Since its inception, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation has raised over $40 million for childhood cancer.
